A note on “smudging”:

The use of sacred white sage and the ritual of smoke “smudging” are specific to North American Indigenous populations. Due to a spike in popularity in recent years, white sage is being harvested (sometimes illegally) at an accelerated rate and has become vulnerable (nearing endangered status). For this reason, we use common sage in “No Bad Vibes” and use of it is not to be considered smudging. Use of white sage and the term “smudging” by non-natives is cultural appropriation, plain and simple.
